All lanes now open on I-275 in northern Hillsborough

Good news for I-275 commuters in Wesley Chapel: the new third lane was opened yesterday afternoon in each direction in the construction zone between U.S. 41 and I-75. For northbound I-275, this means three through-lanes all the way to just west of the I-75/SR 56 interchange. For southbound I-275, motorists now have three lanes from exiting southbound I-75 all the way through the project area.

While the lanes are all open, there still will be periodic night lane closures as the project continues towards completion.
