Wiregrass Ranch Community in New Tampa / Wesley Chapel

Today's Tampa Tribune reports that the Wiregrass Ranch development/project finally won approval for limited development for their city-sized project in the heart of Wesley Chapel / New Tampa. The project is located east of Bruce B. Downs and between state roads 56 and 54. Wiregrass took its first steps toward status as a development of regional impact in June 2004. The community consists of a 5,000 acre project.

Two schools, a middle school and a high school are already under construction in Wiregrass, with both expected to open within 9 months.
