Print Pink unveiling and another Arts Festival at The Shops at Wiregrass

Back in October, when The Shops at Wiregrass had its grand opening, the public was invited to participate in the Print Pink program with a donation to the American Cancer Society. Participants imprinted or placed a personal message on 6 by 6 inch clay tiles. The tiles are now installed at the mall and the unveiling is scheduled for Saturday, at 2:00 PM. (Center Court)

Additionally, The Shops at Wiregrass will host The Suncoast Arts Festival on May 2nd and 3rd., (Sat. hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM , Sun: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM.) with an estimate of 80 fine artists and craftsmen participating.

Short Sales / Preforeclosures Rule in Bridgewater

A recent analysis of single family Bridgewater homes listed for sale in our local MLS revealed that 86% of the homes on the market in the community are either preforeclosures or "short sales". While all communities in the area have been affected by preforeclosures, Bridgewater appears to be the hardest hit of all.

Wesley Chapel art show


The Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2nd annual art show, “Celebration of the Arts” with works from an estimated 75 artists. New Tampa real estate market update

Preforeclosure sales and bank owned sales gained a major share of New Tampa single family home resales in March. There were 80 single family homes reported sold in New Tampa in March per our local MLS data and over 50% of the sales reported on resales were preforeclosures or bank owned homes!

The average sales price for all New Tampa single family homes reported sold in March was $286,004. Sale prices ranged from $99,000 to $1,600,000.

There currently are over 400 New Tampa single family homes listed for sale in our MLS ranging from $106,000. to almost $3 million.

Panel to present at PACA's April meeting

The Pasco Alliance of Community Associations plans a very timely April meeting dealing with topics from community budgeting, the collection of landowner assessments and reserve funds, financial statements, and landscaping, paving, irrigation and other asset issues. Brief presentations will be made by four panelists, followed by questions from the audience. The meeting will be held at 7:00 p.m. on April 9, 2009 at the Land O Lakes Community Center (5401 Land O Lakes Blvd).
