Heritage Isles and its restaurant

Recently, Laura Kinsler of the Tampa Tribune reported that the New Tampa community of Heritage Isles continues to experience losses with the operation of its restaurant. The restaurant is currently run by the same company that runs the Saddlebrook Resorts in Wesley Chapel, and the community has had a series of companies unsuccessful in making the restaurant profitable. Regarding the continuing losses, Kinsler quotes Heritage Isles CDD Chairman, Steve Stark as saying that homeowners are tired of seeing their tax bills (CDD fees) go up to subsidize a failing restaurant and golf club.
